GreenXS is a non-profit organisation, helping a few alternative music projects with booking and promo, mainly in Switzerland, and working also with venues and festivals on the reduction of their environmental impacts.

The bands are the ones we love, and would listen to even if we weren’t working with them, and whom we can help meet their audiences. Each of them is very special for us, but if we have to use labels, we could say they roughly belong to the noise / math-rock / metal / hardcore / doom / experimental part of the music scene. Independent, too, and undergroundish…
Besides those with whom we work on a long(er)-term basis, we love to help out interesting projects touring in this part of the world.

And what about the environment then?
Well, we’re huge gig and festival lovers, but we also care about their impacts on the environment. What we do, on organizers’ request, is determine the venue’s / festival’s global impact (produced waste, energy consumption, the transports …, usually in terms of equivalent CO2 produced), evaluate the possible solutions’ environmental benefits and costs, and also help implement the chosen solutions, when needed. It is the way we found to insure that the proposals we make are relevant, and not only ecological marketing bluff.
